In December of 99' me and a friend of mine decided to build some R/C boats, we wanted something fairly easy to build but something that would run fast. We chose to go with electric because of the ease, and Kyosho's Wavemaster seem to be relatively inexpensive and simple to build.  We got the kits put them together as the directions stated the only thing we had done differently so far was we both ordered ESC (Duratrax Streak). The performance of the stock boat was a complete let down. Something had to be done! After a while of searching on the net we found a article in rum runner racing. It told how to turn this boat into a possible 28 to 30 MPH tunnel boat! This really excited us, there was hope for these boats our money was not lost, but we did however end up spending more than we wanted to on this project.
